Chapel Construction Needs

We need to purchase or find people to sponsor the following supplies to take with us to the DR!

3X6” mending plates (100 qty).

These are flat plates with spikes on one side. Used for assembling the webbing in the trusses. Does not have to be Simpson brand, as long as they’re roughly 3”X6”.

3X6” tie-plates (22 qty).

These are flat plates with holes drilled through them. Used for assembling truss halves and tying sill plates together.

Simpson Strong-Tie ZMAX Hurricane Tie model #H2.5AZ. (16 qty)

Used to anchor trusses

5lb boxes of 2” coarse thread screws. (x3)

5lb boxes of 3” coarse thread screws. (3)

Can be silver, gold, or coated. Primeguard coated are best as our wood is pressure treated. Please do not get deck screws as they are too thick for our applications. Also please avoid drywall screws.

10 qty. 1/8” drill bits.

6 qty. Bit tip extensions.

One, 1lb box N8DHDG 1 ½” nails for mending plates
